South Florida’s residential real estate inventoryfell 1.1 percenyt in the last week with 81,159 properties on the according to the report, which uses data from the Floridq Association of Realtors. That’s down from 83,491 residential resales on the markett inthe tri-county area as of June 1. the glut of condos and townhouses on themarkett isn’t shrinking as fast. They represent aboutt 61 percent of the total up from 57 percent in according toPeter Zalewski, a principal with the Bal Harbour-basefd real estate consultancy and brokerages firm.
Broward has the fewest number of single-familh houses available for resalewith 10,17 properties, or 32 percent of the total Soutu Florida inventory of Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties each account for 34 percent of the remaining single-family home inventory. Palm Beach County has 10,888 houses for sale compare d to 11,058 houses on the resale market in according tothe report. There are 49,034 condos and townhouses on theresale market. Forty percent are in 33 percentin Broward, and 27 percenrt in Palm Beach. The number of home sales pending in the week ended June 22slipped 0.
5 percent to 15,564 from 15,64 5 on June 15, but saw a 318 increases from June 1 when therre were 15,246 pending sales.
