Asperger had been the construction company’zs sole bookkeeper since 1998. “Beginning in she issued herself 68 checks from the company by forgingthe president’ signature on the checks,” a news release said.
“Between 2001 and she manipulatedthe company’s paperwork and bookkeeping systej in order to hide the Company employees discovered the embezzlement in the fall of 2006 by noticintg a discrepancy in the company’s bookkeeping The State Franchise Tax Board helped build the case by investigatingf Asperger’s past state tax returns.

Year over year, bank card delinquenciex increased 11 percentfrom 1.19 to 1.32 percengt — 9 percent higher than in fourth-quarter 2008. Nevada at 2.44 percengt and Florida at 1.9 percent had the highestf delinquency rates. The delinquency rate is defined as the ratilo of borrowers 90 days or more behind on one or more of their bank cards. Average credit card debt inched upwardrnationally 0.82 percent to $5,776 from the previouzs quarter’s $5,729, and 4 percenft compared to the first quarter of 2008 at “As the recession entered its sixth we saw continued increases in average bank card balances, as consumersa struggled to meet repayment obligations in a job market that continuese to deteriorate,” said Ezra Becker, directord of consulting and strategy in TransUnion’s financial servicexs group.
