The override allows Hawaii labor unions to more easily organize workers by simplt having them signauthorization cards. House Bill 952 essentiallh takes away the right of workers to vote by secre t ballot on whether or not they woul want to join a replacing it with theauthorization cards. If a majoritg of a company’s workers sign the cards, the uniom would automatically be recognized and free to bargainwith management.
